10 Must-Have Travel Accessories For Every Trip

One problem that confronts all female travelers is how to pack light. Bringing the essentials means stuffing in at least two luggage bags for a few nights of travel.  Oftentimes, many women travelers feel that they didn’t pack “everything”. This is because we forget to carry essential travel accessories.

Travel items that can make your transit more comfortable are must-haves. If you are trying to learn the art of packing light, start by bringing these things with you.

Travel Pillows

Unless it only takes less than 3 hours to get to your destination, it is important to pack a travel pillow. Bring a pillow if you have long-haul flights or long-distance train and bus rides to keep you well rested. Airlines may provide pillows, but nothing can be more comforting than having a neck pillow to give you good support while catching some sleep.

Pashmina

A versatile clothing, a pashmina scarf can be your blanket, cover-up or as a chic accessory. On top of it all, the fabric is lightweight and can easily be placed inside your carry-on.

Travel Wallets

Tourists are easy prey to pickpockets and thieves. No need to put your money in specialized bras and other clothing; you can secure your cash and cards with money belts and neck wallets. Neck wallets are great ways to hide even other items like ID cards.

Travel organizers

Have you found yourself misplacing your passport, your tickets and even bills? How about important cards from credit cards to your hotel’s business card (bearing their address)? Solve this with a travel organizer. One of the travel accessories you should start buying, it makes transit fuss-free and avoid losing important things that may cause delays and other inconveniences.

Medicines and toiletries

You don’t have to bring all contents of your medicine cabinets, but make sure to bring some essentials from your prescription drugs and vitamins to first-aid. Bring hydrate tablets, bandages, and medicines for common colds and upset stomach.

Hotels do provide toiletries, but you can bring your favorite cream and perfume by placing them in travel bottles.

Carrying case

Do you need to attend dinners during your trip? Do you want to keep stylish while you explore your destination? Place your jewelry from earrings to bracelets in an eyewear case.

Wipes

Bring some wipes for instant touch-ups and unplanned cleaning (food stains). Traveling also puts you at risk with all the physical contacts from the elevator railings to shaking hands with new friends. Those with kids must bring antibacterial wipes for instant hand cleaning.

Water bottle

Keep hydrated while you travel. Bring your empty water bottle through airport security and fill them afterwards. When touring especially in humid places, always bring water.

Earplugs or earphones

Instantly zone out by bringing your own earplugs.  Keep your sanity when a poor child starts wailing during a flight with earplugs or gracefully save yourself from an intrusive person you met during a bus or train ride by pretending to listen to music.

Dried fruits

You don’t know where hunger may strike as you travel. Travel also means keeping your healthy lifestyle. With this, pack some dried fruits that you can snack on while on the road. They don’t consume much space like the usual chips, yet they give you fuel as you enjoy your trip.

These travel accessories are very important for every trip. Bring them along and you will have a hassle-free journey without bringing your whole closet.
